Bismuth Shot is one of the softest of all the non-toxic alternative metal shot. It’s soft enough that it won’t damage older gun barrels. Independent testing shows that Mohs hardness of KJ bismuth shot is 2, which is  similar to lead shot and significantly softer than steel shot. Bismuth's density is 9.6g/cc which is just about as dense (and lethal) as lead, and it's non-toxic. KJ bismuth shot is of high polished surface and perfectly round form.
